Rheumatology

The Rheumatology fellowship is a two-year integrated training program with Winthrop-University Hospital (WUH), and has a total of 3 fellows. Inpatient rotations are divided equally between the two medical institutions. All trainees throughout the length of the program attend two outpatient sessions per week at each hospital.

Trainees also choose a research project and faculty research advisor after consultation with the faculty and program director. The research component of the training program may take place at either site.

The program also offers experience in Pediatric Rheumatology at Schneider Children’s Hospital.

Rheumatology conferences (grand rounds) and research conferences are held weekly at either institution.
