NUMC’S GERALD MONDSCHEIN, MD AND MARCIA MONDSCHEIN RECOGNIZED BY THE GUATEMALAN CONGRESS

Gerald Mondschein,MD, Medical Director for the Nassau Health Care Corporation Community Health Centers, was honored during his last trip to Guatemala by the Congress of the Guatemala Republic through the first Deputy Vice President, Oliverio Garcia Rodas. Dr. Mondschein and his wife Marcia, were both recognized for their valuable cooperation in the development of the education of the Guatemalan nation and for their contributions to various reading programs through donations of books to public schools in Guatemala and training programs in teaching reading for thousands of teachers in Guatemala.
