NHCC MEDICAL STAFF AT NC CORRECTIONAL CENTER RESPONDS TO MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Several members of the Nassau Health Care Corporation medical staff working at the Nassau County Correctional Center were recognized for having responded to a recent medical emergency while assisting a maintenance mechanic who required medical intervention. The staff immediately triaged the situation, took the appropriate action and continuously monitored the patient until he was transported to the Nassau University Medical Center via ambulance.
