WHAT:           Graduation Day for 140 residents from NUMC, on Friday, June 2, 2017
140 residents will be graduating, from their respective residency programs at the Nassau University Medical Center, from various departments including:  Dentistry – General Practice Dentistry – Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Internal Medicine, Medicine Fellowships– Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Osteopathic Traditional Internship, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry & Psychology Child and Adolescent Fellowship and Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship, Radiology, General Surgery, and Plastic Surgery

WHY:              Nassau University Medical Center, a level 1 Trauma Center, is a 530-bed community teaching hospital with a progressive public mission, with 140 residents graduating from their residency programs. Residents graduating today will be eligible to sit for the boards in their respective fields. Our residents have accepted prestigious fellowships, others will be joining nationwide institutions to pursue additional specialties and some will join private practices.
