East Meadow, NY………..Victor F. Politi, MD, FACP, FACEP, NuHealth/NUMC’s President/CEO, proudly announces that David Paganini, laboratory assistant at the Nassau University Medical Center and a volunteer in the East Meadow Fire Department (EMFD), has been invited by the Presidential Inauguration Committee to perform with the East Meadow Fire Department Color Guard that is leading the Nassau County Firefighters Pipe and Drum. Mr. Paganini is Captain of the Color Guard and will be leading the group during today’s Inaugural Parade. The group was invited by President Donald Trump to perform during the festivities.

As a laboratory assistant during the last three years, Mr. Paganini is a lab specimen transporter from the emergency department to all areas of the lab. He receives specimens and answer calls in shared services and helps out in transporting bodies to the morgue, releasing bodies to funeral homes and N.C. Medical Examiner.

Mr. Paganini, a resident of East Meadow, stated: “It is an honor for the EMFD Color Guard to have been selected to perform today and lead the Nassau County Firefighters Pipe and Drum at the Inauguration Parade. We are thrilled to be a part of history.”
