NASSAU UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER AND LONG ISLAND MINORITY AIDS COALITION TO HOLD CONFERENCE ON STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVED OUTCOMES FOR DIVERSE POPULATIONS IN HIV/AIDS PREVENTION AND CARE

Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) in conjunction with the LI Minority Aids Coalition to Eliminate Health Disparities will be holding a conference on Thursday June 21, 2007 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM in the NUMC Amphitheater.  Titled “Policies for Change:  New Horizons and Implications for Improved Outcomes in HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care in Diverse Populations,” the free conference is aimed for health care providers, health care professionals policymakers, consumers as well as the general public.  Since refreshments will be provided, advance registration is required by writing to Long Island Minority Aids Coalition, 1045 Route 109, Suite 101, Lindenhurst, NY  11757 or calling Vickie White at 631-225-5501.
