TV STAR & WOMEN’S ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK ACTOR BIANCA JAMOTTE TO BE CAMPAIGN AMBASSADOR AT GO RED EVENT- A MISSION TO FIGHT HEART DISEASE IN WOMEN ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 4TH AT 9AM

NUHEALTH HOSTS FREE PUBLIC SEMINAR ON HEART DISEASE IN WOMEN AND GRAND OPENING OF THE NEW HEART FAILURE & ARRHYTHMIA CENTER

WHAT:  The NuHealth System will participate in the Go Red Campaign Against Heart Disease for women. There will be a free seminar open to the public, including keynote speakers and a guest appearance by actress Bianca Jamotte from Women’s Entertainment Network (WE TV). The Seminar will include: recognizing symptoms of heart attacks, coronary and stroke prevention, caring for loved ones with heart disease, living with heart failure, eating right to start the fight, a patient’s perspective as well as the launch of the heart failure & arrhythmia center at NUMC.

WHY: Heart disease in women has been totally under recognized and neglected. The American Heart Association Go Red for Women Day is an opportunity for patients, doctors, nurses and the public to focus on prevention and to create awareness about this killer disease in women.
