AWARD HIGHLIGHTS PHYSICIAN’S COMMITMENT TO SERVING, WITH DISTINCTION, THE ELDERLY POPULATION AT THE NURSING HOME WHILE PROVIDING THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CARE FOR ITS RESIDENTS
East Meadow, NY……Olukayoke O. Ojutiku, MD, FACP, FWACP, FACSG, Medical Director at the A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility in Uniondale, has been appointed a distinguished fellow of the American College of Specialists in Geriatrics, with certification by the American Board of Geriatric Medicine and the American College of Specialists in Geriatric Medicine.
“We congratulate Dr. Ojutiku on receiving this prestigious appointment granted with distinction, reflecting his qualifications, excellence in education and training, and his commitment to quality care, all to benefit the residents of A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility,” said Arthur A. Gianelli, President/CEO of the Nassau Health Care Corporation.
Larry Slatky, Senior Vice President for A. Holly Patterson, added: “Dr. Ojutiku, who has been serving as the Medical Director at A. Dr. Ojutiku graduated in Medicine at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1969. He completed an internal medicine residency at the New York French-Polyclinic Hospital 1971-1974 and was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1974. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Fellow of West African College of Physicians, Member of American Medical Directors Association (AMDA), and is a certified medical Director. He is currently on the Faculty of the State University of New York at Stony Brook as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine.
