UROGYNECOLOGIST EXPERIENCED IN PROVIDING SPECIALIZED EXPERT CARE WITH PERSONALIZED COMPASSIONATE APPROACH TO PATIENTS
East Meadow, NY…….Olga Liberman, MD, a specialist in urogynecology, has joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Nassau University Medical Center, specializing in non-surgical as well as minimally invasive surgical approaches to pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain and urinary incontinence.
In welcoming Dr. Liberman to the staff of the Nassau University Medical Center, Arthur A. Gianelli, President/CEO of the Nassau Health Care Corporation stated: “We are delighted that we were successful in recruiting Dr. Liberman, an experienced urogynecologist, who will provide specialized expert care with a personalized and compassionate approach to dealing with our patients and who is committed to enhancing the quality of care that we provide all our patients.”
Dr. Liberman obtained her medical degree from New York Medical College, and then completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Stony Brook University Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery at the Maimonides Medical Center, where she also held a faculty appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
As an urogynecologist at the Nassau University Medical Center, Dr Liberman employs modern diagnostic techniques including multichannel urodynamic testing to obtain accurate and prompt diagnosis. She specializes in non-surgical as well as minimally invasive surgical approaches to pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain and urinary incontinence. She has special interest in international medicine and has participated in a mission to Central America as a volunteer physician. She is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the International Continence Society. She speaks fluent Russian.
Dr. Liberman’s aim is to provide expert care with individualized compassionate approach to each patient’s problem. “I am very excited about joining the faculty of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the NUMC.
