NUMC’S DIABETES EDUCATION CLASSES

The following is a schedule for Nassau University Medical Center’s 2008 Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) course.  The DSME course consists of seven classes.  The class meets every Tuesday from 2 pm to 4 pm in the East Conference Room on the first floor of NUMC. 
 

February 12 — Diabetes Overview & High/Low Blood Sugars

February 19 — Exercise & Foot Care

February 26 — Sick Days, Medications & Chronic Complications

March 4 — Stress & Self-Monitoring Blood Glucose

March 11 — Nutrition

March 18 — Market Tour
  
March 25 — Goal Setting
