NUMC TO SPONSOR HEALTH FAIR IN CONJUNCTION WITH ISLAMIC CENTER OF LONG ISLAND

East Meadow, NY……Nassau University Medical Center, in conjunction with the Islamic Center of Long Island, will be holding a health fair on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at The Islamic Center of Long Island, 835 Brush Hollow Road,Westbury, NY 11590

The following FREE SCREENINGS will be provided:
Blood pressure/weight screening
Vascular screening
Additional educational information concerning pediatrics, colon cancer, vascular disease, podiatry, diabetes, nutrition, exercise, back health/avoiding work injuries, financial assistance programs, women’s health issues and safety first will also be provided.

Hot and healthy free lunch will be served.
