NUMC NEWBORN BABIES RECEIVE HOLIDAY STOCKINGS

The Perinatal Leadership staff and the Auxilary of Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, celebrated the holiday season with a great deal of fanfare. Beginning on December 21 through December 27, every newborn was placed in a life-size holiday stocking and presented to their families. The response from both patients and hospital staff was overwhelming. The stockings, embroidered with the name Nassau University Medical Center, were then given to the families as a keepsake gift of this wonderful and momentous occasion.
