NUMC HEALTHCARE EXPERTS TO HOLD EBOLA CRISIS TRAINING FOR POLICE, FIREFIGHTERS, EMS AND HOSPITAL WORKERS

East Meadow, NY (October 16, 2014) – Nassau University Medical Center President and CEO, Victor F. Politi, MD, FACP, FACEP, and infectious disease experts will be providing training that is being scheduled for Nassau County firefighters, police, and EMS, and hospital workers by specialists on the latest updates regarding the Ebola virus and methods used for personal protection.  The training will take place Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 7pm at Nassau University Medical Center at 2201 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, NY.  

 

While area hospitals and clinics are taking precautions, proper training is crucial to the safety of all healthcare workers and first responders that may come in contact with infected patients.
