NuHealth’s John Finnerty Receives “2012 Best New Accreditation Professional Award” from Association of Healthcare Accreditation Professionals

East Meadow, NY….Arthur A. Gianelli, President/CEO of the NuHealth System, announces that John Finnerty, is the recipient of the Association for Healthcare Accreditation Professionals (AHAP) 2012 Best New Accreditation Professional of the Year Award at the sixth annual AHAP conference. The AHAP conference brings together survey professionals from across the country to discuss best practices for continual survey readiness and compliance with ever-changing standards and regulations, while focusing on patient safety and quality of care. 

“John Finnerty, RN, BSHA, CHSA, Quality Coordinator for Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, as this year’s recipient, is “an outstanding representative of the profession,” as stated by Matt Phillion, CSHA, AHAP director. M. Phillion further went on to state that “Regulatory compliance and leadership is of the highest importance in today’s healthcare field, and …this individual embodies the best qualities of the accreditation professional.”
