NuHealth Nurse Named Registered Nurse of the Year by Nassau County REMSCO

East Meadow, N.Y., May 23rd, 2022 – Marvin Berg, RN, EMT-CC, a nurse at Nassau University Medical Center, is the recipient of this year’s Registered Nurse of the Year achievement by Nassau County Regional Emergency Medical Services Council.

NuHealth is proud to announce that Marvin Berg, RN, EMT-CC, a nurse at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) and first responder with the Wantagh Fire Department, has been named Registered Nurse of the Year for 2021 by the Nassau County Regional Emergency Medical Services Council (REMSCO).

Mr. Berg and other award recipients are now eligible for consideration for statewide awards from the New York State Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. An awards ceremony recognizing their contributions to excellence in healthcare will be held on Saturday, May 21st, 2022 at the Morrelly Center.

NuHealth congratulates Mr. Berg on this outstanding achievement. It is a testament to the dedication, expertise, and quality of nursing and critical care provided at NUMC and all NuHealth facilities.
