NUHEALTH CELEBRATES NATIONAL HEALTH CENTER WEEK AT ITS FIVE LIFQHCS, THROUGH INCREASED ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE, COST EFFECTIVE AND HIGH QUALITY CARE

East Meadow, NY…………Victor F. Politi, MD, FACP, FACEP, NuHealth’s President/CEO congratulates the staff of its five LI Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) as they celebrate National Health Center Week on August 10 to 16, 2014. “You are to be commended for your dedication to all our patients, for being a proud recipient of NCQA’s Patient Centered Medical Home and for providing increased access to affordable, cost effective and high quality care, at our FQHCs in Hempstead, Westbury, Elmont, Roosevelt and Freeport,” stated Dr. Politi.  “Our health centers serve as critical economic local engines for healthier communities, helping to power local economies.”

David Nemiroff, Executive Director for the LIFQHCs added his congratulations: “The NuHealth Family Health Centers in partnership with the LIFQHC play a critical role in providing affordable, high-quality preventive and primary health care to tens of thousands of people.
