NASSAU HEALTH CARE CORPORATION OFFICIALS MEET WITH CONSUL GENERAL OF MEXICO AND CONSUL GENERAL OF EL SALVADOR
Nassau Health Care Corporation officials recently invited the Consul General of Mexico and the Consul General of El Salvador to visit the East Meadow campus to provide them with a tour of the Nassau University Medical Center and an overview of the many services provided in the hospital, A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility and the six Community Health Centers located throughout the various communities of Nassau County. During the luncheon meeting, attended by administrative and clinical staff of the Nassau University Medical Center, the consuls had a very fruitful exchange of ideas with hospital officials on how their citizens can best be served in the areas of preventive health care.
Arthur A. Gianelli, president/CEO of the Nassau Health Care Corporation, who welcomed the consuls at NUMC, said: “I am delighted to meet with you and explore opportunities for providing high quality preventive health care services to the citizens of Mexico and El Salvador living in the United States. We are committed to our mission of providing quality health services to all, regardless of ability to pay, and look forward to working together in the future on exciting health care projects.”
