NASSAU COUNTY ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES FREE HEALTH CARE FOR RESIDENTS AND IMMIGRANTS TO HOLD KICK OFF RECEPTION TONIGHT, JULY 30, 2014 IN EAST MEADOW
East Meadow, NY………NuHealth/Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Victor F. Politi will join health officials in a kick off reception sponsored by RotaCare that provides free health care to local residents and immigrants in need of medical attention. It will take place tonight, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 6pm at the Carltun located at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. The event will honor the following individuals for providing to health and welfare of others.

The Mission of RotaCare is to facilitate free health care for the relief of pain and suffering to those who have the most need and the least access to medical care.
Financial eligibility for services at the RotaCare Health Center is based upon Federal Poverty Levels. To qualify for services, a patient’s annual income must be below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Patients must be uninsured and ineligible for Medicare, Medicaid or any other type of health care program such as Family Health Plus.
