Current Player visits pediatric patients and tours hospital premises
WHAT: The New York Mets sends one of its current players to pay a special visit to
pediatric patients at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) Pediatric Care Center. The player will visit patients on the ward and tour NUMC premises accompanied by NUMC President and CEO, Victor F. Politi, MD, FACP, FACEP. The visit is made possible through NUMC partner, Healthfirst, a leading managed care organization serving more than one million members in downstate New York since 1993.
