NUMC SCHEDULES BONE MARROW/BLOOD DRIVE FOR LEUKEMIA PATIENT OF KOREAN DESCENT
East Meadow, NY…….Leukemia patient, Mandy Manocchio, of Korean descent, is in desperate need of finding a donor for a bone marrow transplant. The Nassau University Medical Center’s blood donor center is holding a bone marrow/blood drive on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 2PM until 7PM on the Ground floor of NUMC. Ms. Manocchio, whose two children are Trey, 6 and Kai, 5, just finished chemotherapy but needs a bone marrow transplant in order to survive.
