NUHEALTH ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN TO HELP THOUSANDS OF UNINSURED PATIENTS OBTAIN HEALTH INSURANCE
East Meadow, NY…………..In an effort to help thousands of NuHealth’s uninsured patients, who are eligible under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), to receive subsidized health insurance coverage on the NY State Health Benefit Exchange, Arthur A. Gianelli, President/CEO of the NuHealth System, announces a campaign to educate low and moderate income populations and help them become insured. The campaign will take place at the Nassau University Medical Center and at its federally qualified health centers, located throughout Nassau County. Included in the campaign are bilingual counselors/enrollers from the NS Hospital Council, HealthFirst and NuHealth to assist patients with comprehensive health benefits information on various plans, seminars by HealthFirst for the community, mailings, website information, social media pages, buttons, posters, fliers. Insurance company officials are expected to join Mr. Gianelli at the press conference.
