GRADUATION DAY FOR 143 NUMC RESIDENTS 

WHAT: Graduation Day for 143 residents from NUMC, on May 31, 2012.
143 residents will be graduating from their respective residency programs at Nassau University Medical Center from various departments including: Anesthesiology, Dentistry – General Practice
Dentistry –  Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Internal Medicine, Medicine Fellowships– Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Osteopathic Medicine, Pathology, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry & Psychology, Radiology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery

WHEN: Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 1PM

WHERE: Westbury Manor, Jericho Turnpike, Westbury, New York

WHY: Nassau University Medical Center, a level 1 Trauma Center, is a 530-bed community teaching hospital with a progressive public mission, with 143 residents graduating from their residency programs.  Residents graduating today will be eligible to sit for the boards in their respective fields.  Our residents have accepted prestigious fellowships, others will be joining nationwide institutions to pursue additional specialties and some will join private practices.
