HONORING RADIOLOGY PROFESSIONALS OF NUMC

Radiology staff members gather for a group photo outside of the Nassau University Medical Center, in honor of NUMC’s Radiology-Technology Week, November 4th to 8th. The employees will be recognized for their dedication to the consistent delivery of quality professional imaging services.  The radiology staff provides quality imaging services in routine diagnostic radiology, as well as CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Special Interventional procedures, Radiation Therapy and Breast Imaging. 

In recognizing the contributions of the radiology staff to the success of the Nassau Health Care Corporation, Arthur A. Gianelli, president/CEO of the Nassau Health Care Corporation, who joined the group in the photo by the main entrance to the hospital, said: “I am delighted to recognize the dedicated staff, under the leadership of Victor Scarmato, MD, chair of the radiology department, that provide quality imaging capabilities to our patients and benefit the surrounding communities to the hospital, nursing home and community health centers.  Their service is vital to clinical diagnosis and treatment because they are always on duty in the event of any emergency.”
