FIRST 2012 BABY BORN AT NUMC FOUR SECONDS AFTER MIDNIGHT

East Meadow, NY……..The first baby born at the Nassau University Medical Center in 2012, was born four seconds after midnight to proud and happy parents, Alicia and Carlos Mojica of Hicksville.  The mother is 29 years old and the father is 32 years old.

Baby boy, Danilo Alexander Mojica, weighs 7lbs, 15oz, measures 20 inches in length and is considered a “miracle child and a blessing” by his grateful and excited parents, along with seven year old sister, Gennesis, who is ecstatic to finally have a baby brother. “We are so thrilled to welcome Danilo into our family after only a two hour labor. We wanted a son for our second child and could not be more thankful to have a healthy baby boy,” said the parents as they were being photographed at bedside.  “We do not have enough words to describe how grateful we are to the NUMC staff for all their assistance in helping us deliver our healthy baby boy. We are still in shock to have delivered the first baby of the year 2012, but very pleasantly surprised and thankful for this blessing.”
