EAST MEADOW FIRE DEPARTMENT DONATES TOYS AND TELEVISIONS TO NUMC

Members of the East Meadow Fire Department presented the pediatric patients at Nassau University Medical Center with hundreds of toys collected by the firemen at their respective firehouses in East Meadow. The firemen also purchased televisions that they donated to the Pediatrics Department, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, the Burn Center and the Psychiatry Department. They were welcomed and thanked for their generosity by Shelley Lotenberg, Director of Public Affairs at NUMC.
