ARTHUR A. GIANELLI, PRESIDENT/CEO OF THE NASSAU HEALTH CARE CORPORATION, ATTENDS ROOSEVELT COMMUNITY MEETING HOSTED BY TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD COUNCILWOMAN DOROTHY L. GOOSBY
Arthur A. Gianelli, president/CEO of the Nassau Health Care Corporation, comprised of Nassau University Medical Center, A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility and six Community Health Centers, was invited to speak before the residents of the Roosevelt community at a meeting held at the Roosevelt Library, hosted by Town of Hempstead councilwoman Dorothy L. Goosby.
Mr. Gianelli made a presentation on the NHCC’s plans for a Community Health Center, an Imaging Center and the Institute for Health Care Disparities to be located at 380 Nassau Road in Roosevelt. He presented an overview of the NHCC, the various improvements taking place, health disparities, and the Freeport/Roosevelt Community Health Center. Following his presentation, the Roosevelt residents had an opportunity to pose questions of Mr. Gianelli and to express any concerns that they might have. Mr. Gianelli responded to all the questions and will schedule follow-up meetings with councilwoman Goosby and the residents of the community.
