Low Vision & Contact Lenses

For patients with vision problems that can’t be fully corrected by eyeglasses or traditional contact lenses, low vision specialists at NuHealth’s Eye Care Center at Nassau University Medical Center offer help and hope.  In addition to helping identify appropriate technologies to aid in day to day living, there are many instances in which specialized contact lenses can be used to counter the effects of such conditions as cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and more.
