Nuhealth’s Seventh Annual Employee Recognition 2012 Dinner
The NuHealth System held its Seventh Annual Employee Recognition Dinner on April 18, 2012, at Leonard’s of Great Neck. Attended by over four hundred employees of Nassau University Medical Center, A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility and our Family Health Centers, and board members and guests, the event was a huge success, with those in attendance dancing the night away. The event was made possible through a generous donation by the NUMC Auxiliary.
The event was co-chaired by Linda Walsh, director of therapeutic recreation at the Nassau University Medical Center, and Mary Grace Lynch, director of therapeutic recreation at the A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility, and with Larry Slatky, NuHealth’s executive vice president for operations, serving as the honorary chair of the event. Our President/CEO, Arthur A. Gianelli, served as the Master of Ceremonies during the various presentations, in which the honorees were each called up to the podium to be congratulated and recognized for their commitment to the success of the NuHealth System. In addition, the two recipients of the Earl Stroughton Award, Angie Eason and Theresa Lopes-Boehm, were recognized by the CSEA leadership for their service and dedication in improving the lives of our patients each and every day of the year. Congratulations to all our honorees for their demonstrated dedication and exemplary accomplishments during their many years of working within the NuHealth System.
