The Nassau Health Care Corporation is a public benefit corporation, with employees hired through the Nassau County Civil Service Commission. The Nassau County Civil Service Commission posts exams for the majority of our available positions on its website, www.nassaucivilservice.com, under the Announcements tab. NHCC/NUMC will only accept resumes for those positions listed in the Careers and Business section of our website, www.numc.edu, or advertised in other help-wanted media. Patient Care Assistant, Maintenance, Food Service and Housekeeping resumes are accepted on an ongoing basis. Due to the large volume of resumes received, it is not possible to keep any other resumes on file. If forwarding a resume, please specify position of interest. If no position is noted, the resume will not be kept on file.
