Maureen Roarty is the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at NuHealth. Ms. Roarty has over 25 years of experience in the human resources field, through progressively responsible leadership positions. She started her career in human resources in the financial industry as a personnel manager at Oppenheimer and Co. in New York City. In 1987, she joined the A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility (AHP) before it was part of the Nassau Health Care Corporation. Ms. Roarty transitioned to the Nassau University Medical Center in 2005 where she continued to manage all aspects of human resources.
She has served as the Corporation’s Equal Employment Opportunity Officer, as well as a Team Leader on Human Resource Business Process redesign workgroups. In her current position Ms. Roarty reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and is responsible for leading all human resource strategic planning functions including implementing professional development and training programs for administrative, managerial, and ancillary staff as well as evaluating processes and recommending efficiency improvements. She will continue to oversee all aspects of human resources including recruitment, employment classification, compensation, labor relations, benefit administration and worker’s compensation.
Ms. Roarty has a Bachelor’s degree from Siena College, a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management from Adelphi University School of Business Administration, and a Master’s degree with Distinction in Human Resources from Hofstra University School of Business.
