The Department of Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center provides comprehensive surgical treatment to patients of all ages. Our attending surgeons are board certified in their respective specialties. We are a large teaching center and are affiliated with a number of medical schools. Our team represents the major surgical disciplines many of which are reviewed on this site.

Our goal is to provide outstanding surgical treatment while ensuring the best possible patient experience. We apply state of the art care using minimally invasive technology whenever possible. Members of the Department perform procedures from the most basic to the most complex. All treatment options will be thoroughly reviewed and a personalized plan developed to best meet your or your loved ones needs.
