Specialized Procedures
NuHealth’s eye care specialists have access to sophisticated technologies to help diagnose and treat specific eye conditions, including:

  • Digital Fluorescein Angiography to help diagnose and treat retinal diseases more efficiently
  • Argon and YAG Laser Procedures for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts
  • Ocular Ultrasound to examine the back of the eye in patients whose eyes are swollen shut or who have cloudy ocular media, such as cataracts, corneal clouding, or blood in the vitreous fluid
  • Orbital Ultrasound to inspect the soft-tissue structures surrounding the eye for infections, tumors, congenital abnormalities, inflammatory disease and trauma
