PRESS ADVISORY

WHAT:Opening of the essential and much needed additional thirty-five bed inpatient psychiatric unit for residents of Long Island, for a total of 183 psychiatric and chemical dependency beds, the third of three new behavioral health units to open at NUMC, the most active provider of comprehensive behavioral health services on LI. Following the opening, a special grand rounds lecture by NYS Commissioner of Mental Health, Michael F. Hogan, PhD., will take place at 1:30 PM in the NUMC amphitheatre.
