STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIANS
The Sterile Processing Department at Nassau University
Medical Center in East Meadow Long Island New
York is looking to hire 1 Full time and 1- 4/10employees.
The Departments provide sterilization support
for the operation room, and all departments within
the hospital plus 7 area clinics and 1 nursing
home. Our Sterile Processing Team consists of
20 Technicians covering surgical procedures around-the-clock.
Only registered or certified personal need to
apply.
The primary duties of a Certified Sterile Processing
Technician are to clean, inspect and decontaminate
instruments for the Operating Room and other departments,
as well as assemble instrument trays and perform
other duties to facilitate department operations.
In order to qualify you must have a High School
Diploma or equivalent, as well as good communication
and organizational skills. Certification through
IAHCSMM () is preferred.
