AAP eJournal Collection from the American Academy of Pediatrics – the AAP eJournal Collection provides information support  for clinical reviews, original research, concise commentary, and the latest news.  AAP eJournal Collection includes the following e-titles: Grand Rounds, AAP News, Hospital pediatrics, Pediatrics, Pediatrics in Review, NeoReviews.

AccessPediatrics – AccessPediatrics is an integrated online resource that provides students, residents, and practicing physicians with a broad range of content that covers the entire span of pediatric practice, from neonatology through adolescent medicine. It is organized around a set of Core Topics, updated regularly, and provides fast, direct access to the information necessary for completing evaluations, diagnoses, and case management decisions, as well as for pursuing research or self-assessment and board review. Alt HealthWatch – This database focuses on the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. It offers libraries full text articles for more than 180 international, and often peer-reviewed journals and reports. In addition, there are hundreds of pamphlets, booklets, special reports, original research and book excerpts.

CardioSourcePlus – This database (CSP) from the American College of Cardiologists (ACC) provides access to digital tools and resources that will help to succeed in both your training and professional career. With benefits available in a variety of formats, the ACC is there to help to overcome challenges on both the clinical and business side of medicine wherever and whenever you need it. CardioSourcePlus requires both IP and a personal ACC membership login for access. Please make sure you use your existing AAC membership credentials for access or register for the ACC membership credentials if you never had it and/or not an ACC member to begin with.

CINAHL – The Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, this database provides indexing for more than 3,075 nursing and allied health journals and publications. Literature covers a wide range of topics including nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines.

Clinical Key – The database delivers all of Elsevier’s medical and surgical content in one dynamic resource, giving physicians access to over 1,040 top books and over 575 top journals, thousands of videos and millions of images. With Smart Content built on Elsevier’s proprietary taxonomy, physicians get faster, more clinically relevant answers with every search, for less time looking and more time caring for patients.

EBSCOhost Online – (from NHCC network) – includes Alt-Health Watch, APA Databases (PsychInfo, PsychArticles, and PsychTests), and the CINAHL database.

InfoTrac – National, international, and NY state newspapers database, for consumers and professionals.

Library Portal for Journals and Books – A locator and discovery tool for current library journal and book holdings that includes both print and electronic journals, as well as e-books from various publishers and vendors.

MedOne-PlasticSurgery – MedOne Plastic Surgery eResource from Thieme Publishing is a powerful platform for residents and experienced specialists alike. This Plastic Surgery knowledge-based set includes curated content, such as eBooks, eJournals, and Videos, direct from worldwide and world-renowned experts, for surgeons and residents to connect to resources, elevate their skills, and find insights into every aspect of plastic surgery.

MedOne-Radiology – MedOne Radiology eResource from Thieme Publishing is a powerful platform for residents and experienced specialists alike. By combining expert information with stunning visuals, the site serves as both a learning and technical tool. MedOne makes it easy for busy practitioners to research at home, at work, or on the go. This knowledge-based set included eBooks, eJournals, Videos, and RadCases in Radiology field.

Nutrition Care Manual – Research and Evidence-Based Nutrition Care Information. The manual provides disease-specific information and evaluation, printable client handouts, calculators that compute BMI/weight range, customization tools, and more.

Ovid Online (from NHCC network) – includes OVID Medline, Evidence-Based Medicine Reviews (EBMR), OVID E-books and E-journals. Also search and browse all cited journals to see abstracts and references.

Pediatric Nutrition Care Manual – Research and Evidence-Based Pediatric Nutrition Care Information from the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group of the American Dietetic Association.

PsychiatryOnline – A web-based portal that features DSM® library titles, psychiatric journals and textbooks from American Psychiatric Publishing. This is also a resource for the Psychiatry Resident-in-Training® Examination (PRITE®) and the Psychiatrists In-Practice Examination® (PIPE®) by The American College of Psychiatrists®.

PsychINFO, PsychARTICLES, PsychTESTS – from APA on EBSCOhost platform. The PsycINFO® database is renowned resource for abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, and is the largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health. PsycARTICLES® is a definitive source of full text, peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific articles in psychology. It contains more than 153,000 articles from nearly 80 journals published by the American Psychological Association (APA). Coverage spans 1894 to the present and nearly all APA journals go back to Volume 1, Issue 1. PsycTESTS® serves as a repository for a growing selection of psychological tests and measures, including thousands of actual test instruments and test items that are available for immediate download and use in research and teaching. International in scope, the database also provides access to an increasing number of tests that are available in languages other than English.

PubMed – Search the National Library of Medicine’s MEDLINE and other databases from NLM/NIH with option of linking to library-subscribed online resources via Outside Tool and placing Inter-Library Loan requests for non-subscribed publications.

Red Book – Provides today’s most reliable and clinically useful information on the manifestations, etiology, epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of some 200 childhood infectious diseases. Red Book® Online is the online home of the report of the AAP Committee on Infectious Diseases.

Stahl Online – a comprehensive and regularly updated eResource from Cambridge University Press that provides full access to the entire current Cambridge portfolio of neuropsychopharmacology books by Dr. Stahl: The Prescriber’s Guide, Stahl’s Essential Psychopharmacology, Stahl’s Self-Assessment Examination in Psychiatry, Case Studies, etc. Practical and fully searchable knowledge-based set includes both prescribing information for physicians and patient guidance materials for their patients.

Stedman’s Online: Abbreviations, Acronyms & Symbols – a resource that contains thousands of abbreviation and all of the expansions of that abbreviation. This online resource meets the JCAHO requirement for hospitals to have an approved abbreviations list. The content for the Stedman’s Online product is from the 6th edition of the print title.

UpToDate – Summaries of comprehensive published evidence and specific patient care recommendations. Reviewed and updated on a continuous basis, UpToDate® is an evidence-based, physician-authored clinical decision support resource which clinicians trust to make the right point-of-care decisions.
